The Carolina Panther may not have made the playoffs this season, but they at least made history as they finished the season with a 23-10 win over the New Orleans Saints. Johnathon Stewart rushed for125 yards on 16 carries sunday to take him above the 1,100 yard mark for the season. Stewart joins teammate running back D’Angelo Williams for rushing for 1,100 yards or more this season. The Carolina Panthers are the 6th team in NFL history to have two backs rush for over 1,100 yards in a single season!
I’d like to congratulate the pro-bowl selections: Defensive end Julius Peppers was voted to his fifth Pro Bowl and running back DeAngelo Williams notched his first selection!!!
